Welcome to the Portsmouth NH Informed Voter Website

I've created this site because it's occurred to me as I'm driving around town seeing all of the election signs everywhere, that I have no idea who most of these people are. A few of them have sent mailers to my house which is very helpful, but for the most part I have been having a lot of trouble gathering information about them. I tried doing a websearch thinking that there MUST be a page on the city website dedicated to those who are on the ballots this year, but alas there was not.

And so PortsmouthVoter.com was born. I am still in the process of gathering information on all of the candidates and I will post as much on this site as I can as I find it. Please use the links along the left to browse through the candidate pages (which I'll admit are very sparse right now!) and to find information about ward locations, voter registration, etc.

Please note that inclusion or exclusion of any candidates does not represent my endorsement or lack thereof. I am posting information on people as I obtain it, and have not yet found information on all those who are running.

**Important voting rule to be aware of: In voting for city council members please note that you will be allowed to select up to 9 candidates, however it is not required to vote for 9 candidates.**
